BOILED LINSEED OIL FDA Registered, cGMP Proven Quality, All Natural
Our company is a well established supplier of oils and fats, such as the boiled linseed oil. We ship oils and fats in 5, 30, 55, &
275 gallon containers to truck load and tank trucks (not all products available in all pack sizes). Export service is available.
Boiled Linseed Oil contains driers to speed film drying and hardness. Linseed oil without this additive can take over a week to dry.
The boiled linseed oil enhances brushing and leveling when added to oil based paints. Linseed Oil is a yellowish oil extracted from the seeds of flax and used as a drying oil in paints and varnishes and
in linoleum, printing inks, and synthetic resin.

Linseed oil is a yellowish drying oil derived from the dried ripe seeds
of the flax plant (Linum usitatissimum, Linaceae) and is a major ingredient in a lot of oil paints and varnishes. It is obtained by pressing, followed by an optional stage of solvent
extraction.
Linseed oil dries very slowly, unlike boiled linseed oil which is simply raw oil with chemical accelerators, called "driers" added. Because boiled linseed oil has a faster
drying time, people generally prefer to use this.
The linseed oil is used as an emollient in liniments, pastes, and medicinal soaps, and in veterinary medicine as a laxative.
